When December and I met, we instantly connected. The kind of connection that makes conversation flow easily, even after the photos are done.

With two young boys full of energy and personality, the evening was wonderfully chaotic in the best way. Instead of trying to tame the movement, we leaned into it—running, laughing, and capturing them exactly as they are in this season of life. The result was a session rooted in lifestyle storytelling, while still creating timeless family photos they’ll hold onto for years to come.

The session really came to life in the silly, unscripted moments. Their dad, a firefighter known for his mustache, has clearly left his mark—literally. December has a tiny mustache tattoo on her finger, and she and the boys couldn’t resist holding it up under their noses to match his. It was such a simple, personal moment, and a perfect reflection of this family’s love, connection, and joy.
