Piper’s maternity session took place on a quiet December afternoon at Pensacola Beach, where soft light and thoughtful details set the tone. She chose a neutral outfit that fit the season beautifully, adding a blue sweater as a subtle nod to the baby boy she was waiting to meet.


One of the sweetest details was the pair of matching white Vans she and her husband wore—along with the tiniest baby Vans, ready for future sandy adventures. Months later, I had the joy of returning the beach to photograph Piper again, this time with her beautiful new family of three. Seeing that same shoreline hold two very different seasons of their story was incredibly special.
