Getting to photograph multiple generations — grandparents, their adult kids, and all the grandkids — is one of my favorite things.


These are the sessions that remind me just how special it is to have everyone in one place, because we all know how hard that can be to make happen. Life gets busy, kids grow up, and finding a time when everyone can be together isn't always easy.


That's what makes these photos so meaningful. They capture a season when everyone was there — grandparents surrounded by their children and grandchildren, and a whole family together in one place. When you do get everyone together, you have to document it.
